Drums are pleasantly measured for a jazz trio, and so that much more poignant. Piano takes center stage confidently with great effect. Bass probably does dope shit...nah but yea, it definitely does. marco

A hell of a way to make an entrance. Owane came out swinging straight out of the gate and showed us all he was worth our attention. Well, he's certainly got mine! ChaddyBones

From the beautiful South-Serbian town of Niš - one of my favorite ones in South-East Europe - comes this band with its quite idiosycratic blend of jazz and post-rock, yielding a unique contribution to the fusion genre. Mainly based on Dejan Ilijić's terrific piano chords, the tunes on this album incorporate extensive post-rock textures, as well as odd time signatures typical for Balkan folk music. Sven B. Another set of impossibly slick jams from an Aussie outfit who bathe disco-inspired rhythms in funky synths and psychedelic textures. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 3, 2024

Purchasing this wonderful "chamber jazz" album, I followed in the footsteps of "LeAhcim Retsehcnam", who owns a splendid jazz/fusion/avantgarde collection. This excellently sounding live recording shows in an exemplary way how the confines of contemporary jazz can be vastly expanded - here by fusioning a piano-bass-drums jazz trio with a classical string quartet, and incorporating classical counterpoint composing techniques.
